2nd Quarter Rizal Peace and Order Council Meeting Held: Rizal PNP offers help to Muzon Elementary School

2nd Quarter Rizal Peace and Order Council Meeting Held: Rizal PNP offers help to Muzon Elementary School

The Second Quarter Rizal Provincial Peace and Order Council Meeting was conducted last June 03, 2016 at the Rizal Provincial Capitol, Antipolo City. The member-agencies of the council gathered together to present their accomplishments relative to the objective of promoting peace and order in ensuring public safety.

Residing as the moderators of the meeting was Board Member and incoming Vice Governor of Rizal, Hon. Reynaldo H. San Juan Jr., incumbent Board Member, Hon. Arwin A. Mariano and DILG Rizal’s LGMES Chief, Ms. Phoenix Grant M. Teodoro.

P/SSupt. Adriano T. Enong Jr., Provincial Director of PNP Rizal presented the assessment of the current peace and order situation in the province followed by the assessment of current insurgency situation and internal security campaign in Rizal Province presented by Capt. Saber G. Balogan from the 16th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army. Successively, Principal Aileen SG. Martinez of the Muzon Elementary School and representative of DepEd Rizal, discussed the accomplishments of the agency relative to the Balik Eskwela program. During Principal Martinez’s discussion, Rizal PNP Provincial Director Enong, offered help to Muzon Elementary School through their Adopt-a-Classroom and Adopt-a-Pupil Project. Coming from a family of teachers, PD Enong understands the struggles of a teacher in performing the art of their profession. The Adopt-a-Classroom Program will help Muzon Elementary School by keeping the physical soundness of the selected classroom, from the classroom chairs to the classroom walls. On the other hand, the Adopt-a-Pupil Program of the Rizal PNP, aims to help less privileged students by providing monetary assistance to cover their school expenses. Principal Martinez appreciated these programs of the Rizal PNP, for this will be a great help for the Muzon Elementary School especially to the students, providing them a conducive environment for learning.

The Rizal PPOC Meeting is essential for coordinating and harmonizing with the member-agencies, aligning their ideals to maintain and promote peace and order in the province. Also, it serves as a medium of communication, linking one agency to help another.
