Governor Remulla Named CALABARZON Peace and Order Chair
President Rodrigo Duterte appointed Gov. Jesus Crispin "Boying" C. Remulla as chairperson of the CALABARZON Regional Peace and Order Council or RPOC IV-A for three years. It was Interior Secretary Ismael ‘Mike’ Sueno who recommended Remulla to take the post.
On January 9, 2017, the Governor’s appointment was personally delivered by DILG IV-A Director Manuel Q. Gotis, together with DILG Cavite Director Allan Benitez and witnessed by Vice Governor Jolo Revilla and Indang Mayor Perfecto Fidel.
Pursuant to the provisions of Executive Order No. 773, series of 2009, RPOC was further reorganized to serve as the region’s policy-making body relative to peace and order among other related issues affecting law and order.
