    It involves the acquisition, storage, retrieval, creation, sharing, use, application, review, monitoring and evaluation of explicit and tacit knowledge in a systematic manner to achieve performance excellence in local governance.

    • * Capacity Development - serves as the venue to deliver quality, strategic and responsive capacity development
    • * Multi Media, Knowledge and Information - ensures that key players and prime movers in local governance must collectively articulate policies in building a culture that encourage learning and sharing of information and knowledge in promoting excellence in local governance
    • * Linkage - mediator between the LGUs and other local government stakeholders initiatives like Replication of Best Practices, SGLG, BuB and Local Planning and Development Mechanisms
    • * Public Education and Good Governance, Development and Citizenship - the promotion body of good governance, practices and innovations
  • 7. What is Multi Stakeholdership and Network Building?

    It ensures that key players and prime movers in local governance must collectively articulate policies in building a culture that encourage learning and sharing of information and knowledge in promoting excellence in local governance.

  • 8. What is the Multi Sectoral Advisory Committee (MSAC)?

    MSAC is a network of institutions (LGUs, CSOs, Academe, LRIs, Private Sectors, NGAs) working together to leverage and share knowledge for local governance capacity development and excellence.


    • * Recommend general direction and guidance in the operationalization of the LGRC
    • * Contribute knowledge products
    • * Make accessible and available the knowledge products to users
    • * Contribute to the development of best practices and its replication
    • * Identify areas of convergence among stakeholders
