Mindanao and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the archipelago will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the northeast to northwest will prevail over Mindanao and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Light to moderate winds coming from the east to northeast will prevail over Visayas and from the east to southeast over Luzon with slight to moderate seas

ITCZ is an area where winds from the northern and southern hemisphere meet. It is also considered as the breeding ground of low pressure areas or weather disturbances—PAGASA/PANAHON.TV/DILG4A
