Seal of Good Housekeeping (SGH)
The DILG, in its effort and commitment to aggressively scale up interventions to elevate the practice of governance that values transparency, accountability, participation and performance into an institutionalized status initiated the Seal of Good Housekeeping for Local Government.
It aims to recognize LGUs with good performance in internal housekeeping focusing in four (4) areas, namely:
- Good Planning - with Comprehensive Development Plan and Executive Legislative Agenda
- Sound Fiscal Management - with COA findings or observations, Status of Implementation of Audit findings, LGU Annial Budget & updated Local Revenue Code and Quaterly & Annual Statement of Receipts & Expenditures
- Transparency and Accountability - compliance to the Anti-Red Tape Law and Full Disclosure of local budget and finances, bids and public offerings
- Valuing of Performance Information -Utilization of performance monitoring tool or scorecard system and award recognition reeived
