DILG RIZAL CONDUCTS POC PROVINCIAL AUDIT

DILG RIZAL – To strengthen the Peace and Order Councils (POCs) as the government platform for stronger collaboration among local government units and other stakeholders in the Province, DILG Rizal facilitated the conduct of the POC Performance Audit on April 25, 2024 at the DILG Rizal Provincial Office, Antipolo City.

In attendance were members of the POC Provincial Audit Team – Fire Chief Inspector Eric Sabiano and SFO I Jomer Datiles (BFP R4A Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal Rizal), Agent George Erick Duñoz and IO I Erlinda Mendez (PDEA), PCPT Tricar D. Valena (Rizal Police Provincial Office), and Mr. Anthony Mateo (Rizal PTA Federation).

Local Government Operations Officers (LGOOs) Alyssa Barrameda, Jayen San Diego and Julie Ann Lara presented the results of the conducted pre-audit to the Audit Team. The team discussed the results and agreed on the ratings for all cities and municipalities in the province.

The POC Functionality Audit is a regular performance audit led by the DILG which aims to assess the performance of the local POCs, their functionality and compliance to existing laws and policies. Further, the audit aims to identify innovations, interventions, and improvement strategies initiated by the POCs and POC Secretariats.
