On this day, we commemorate and honor the heroism of the Great Plebeian Andres Bonifacio.

During his time, he immersed himself in the struggles of the Filipino people and fought for a freedom that we continue to enjoy up to this day.

At present, modern heroism is not solely confined to the battlefield; it extends to the corridors of public service, where dedicated individuals tirelessly work for the betterment of their communities.

Thus, I urge everyone, including our newly-elected Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan leaders, to be the heroes of our time.

We can do this through our commitment to good governance and honest public service.

As we honor the sacrifice and courage of Gat Andres Bonifacio, let us draw inspiration from his dedication to the cause of liberty and justice.

May his ideals and valor continue to inspire us all as we march towards a Bagong Pilipinas!
