As part of efforts to intensify the contact tracing program, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) formally signed yesterday, Labor Day, the joint memorandum circular on the implementing guidelines for the hiring, training, and deployment of some 5,754 contact tracers (CTs) in the National Capital Region (NCR) for three months starting this May.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) today said that all local government units (LGUs) will conduct simultaneous flag raising ceremonies to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Lapu-lapu’s Victory at Mactan on April 27, 8 AM and urges the public to emulate the heroism of our ancestors by "conquering yet another battle this time against COVID-19."
