Remulla: Iloilo vice mayor died of accidental firing

Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Wednesday confirmed that the death of Dueñas, Iloilo Vice Mayor Aimee Paz Lamasan was the result of an accidental firearm discharge.

Remulla personally went to Iloilo to ensure a thorough and impartial investigation and to address the spread of misinformation surrounding the incident. He underscored the importance of establishing facts amid circulating speculations and false reports.
